What is new
The FBI attributed the largest cryptocurrency theft in history to North Korea's 'TraderTraitor' hacking unit, which stole $6.3 billion from Binance Oct. 29. The hack eclipses the previous record of $1.5 billion stolen from Bybit in 2025, also by TraderTraitor. Binance has recovered 90% of stolen assets and pledged to cover all losses without passing costs to customers.
